I know what it’s like to Build Muscle and Get Stronger.
In 2016, I suffered an accident while playing tag with my daughter. I completely obliterated my left knee and paralyzed my ankle. I had 7 knee surgeries and was on crutches for over a year. It was devastating because I was training for the Spartan Race and loved to run.
I lost all the muscle in my leg and glutes and hit a depression unlike any other in my life. My daughter was nine at the time, and I couldn’t do anything with her. It absolutely destroyed me. I had to use the TENS machine to make my muscles contract at first before I was able to do it on my own.
When I was able to put pressure/weight on my leg, I started to build it back up. Spending every day at the gym strength training and building my muscle and strength back so that I can do the things that I love.
Now, more than ever, I enjoy helping others who have had injuries or are fresh out of PT, who want to continue Building Muscle and Getting Stronger, or just want to Get Stronger so that you can live your life to the fullest and do the things you love!
So, I know what it's like to be at the bottom, struggling and clawing yourself back to the top to gain all your muscle back and get stronger!
